As most have commented, we have not written much lately. That is because the majority of my time has been wrapped up in church planting in Austin. We are settled in now and are planting in a growing area in Austin called Dripping Springs. For more information on the church plant please visit Austin Redeemed. This site is designed for those who are supporting the plant in various ways. This can be seen in prayer, commitments from people to move to the area and join or financial.
There is also another site that we lead people to who are searching and have no relationship with God. This site is designed to speak to them where they are and lead them to a group of people that will speak the gospel into their lives. Please visit this site but we ask not to leave comments that are heavy church language or theological. This is a place for people to simply find out more information on this new church. You can find it at Life Between Sundays.

I’m curious. What is it about you people that makes you think others need to be ‘redeemed?’ What makes you think that it’s okay to tell everyone else they’re wrong, and you’re right? That seems a little… conceited.

It is pretty simple, turn on the news. If you really didn’t believe this then our blog wouldn’t bother you. You also wouldn’t hide your identity through a fake email address that tries to upset me. There has to be truth and not everyone can be right. I have spent most of my life being wrong and I still don’t have most answers. I do know my need to be redeemed as well as those around me.
If you had the cure for cancer you would share it even if people got angry for you trying to “cure” them when they think they are not even sick. You are right, if what I am saying and believe is wrong and not absolute then I am conceited in my presentation of my belief, but if what I am saying is true then it is not conceited. It could also be taken as conceit that you say I am wrong.
